Louis Joseph Bedini Sr.

BEDINI, LOUIS JOSEPH, SR. Louis Joseph Bedini, Sr., 83, of Naugatuck, formerly of Derby, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 26, 2013. He was the beloved husband of Catherine Bedini (Trimarchi) for 63 years. Lou was born in Derby on August 6, 1929, son of the late Camillo and Adelchisa Bedini. Lou loved music and going dancing with his wonderful wife. He was a lifelong member of the AM Club where he was a Bocce league champion and was a true NY Yankees fan. He was a well known duckpin bowler at the Palace Lanes and loved to play golf. Most of all he loved family dinners with his children and grandchildren. Besides his wife Catherine he is survived by their children, Louis Bedini Jr. and his wife Denise of Seymour; Ken Bedini and his wife Bev of Manchester and Donna Lyons of Beacon Falls; his grandchildren Louis Bedini and his wife Genevieve, Lauren Slater and her husband Rob, Robert Bedini and his wife Sarah, Kyle Bedini and Daniel Lyons; his great grandchildren Lilyana and Taylor; and his sister Elizabeth Sorcinelli. Lou was predeceased by his brother Orlando Bedini and his sisters Irene Colonese, Violo Culmo, Mary DeMarchi, Joanne Pedevillano, and Albina Kalesavich. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 28th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. On Saturday, his funeral procession will leave the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church. His burial will follow at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery.
