Wow tomorrow will be 11 years already since you passed away. Hardly a day goes by that I don't still think about you. So much has happened since you've been gone. I've really missed you! I feel like an orphan. I'm 44 years old already and I still need my Dad. It has not been easy. Life is just not the same without you here. Until we meet again, just know that I still love you, I always have and I always will Dad. - Your only son, Steven

Its been 8 years already since you've passed and it still feels like only yesterday although so much has changed. I still miss and think about you everyday. I would say that you would never believe the things that have happened over these past years, or the things that are going on presently, but I know that your in Heaven watching it all and that you already know. I envy you Dad. Its not easy or pleasant at all down here. Pray for me as I will for you. I can't wait to see you again one day. Tell Jesus that I am trying my best. I love you Dad. Always have and always will. You have no idea how much I miss and need you. God Bless You Dad, Rest in peace. We will meet again.

I can't believe that it's been 6 years already Dad. Seems like only yesterday. Wow how much my life has changed since you passed away. Who would have thought that 6 years after I helped you into Jesus' arms, I would be in seminary almost 1000 miles away to become a priest. You and I talked about my becoming a priest, now its happening and I know that you have been with me in spirit helping me every step of the way, I can feel you. I love and miss you so much Dad. After you left us, I knew that the most important thing for me to do with the rest of my life is to help lead as many others to Heaven as possible. This vocation makes me feel more close to you too! Help me in this mission Dad the best that you can from the other side so that we might all be together again one day in Heaven. Until we meet again over there, I will be hard at work down here working for Jesus as you now are up there in Heaven. I love you Dad. And I love our family. And I am fighting for them everyday. That is why I have to be in religious life. Your all too important to me and Christ. I'll see you Dad, Please tell Jesus and His Mother that I said THANK YOU and that I love them very much!
God Bless,
Your Son Always,
-Steven

Miss you like crazy Dad. There is so much to say, so much going on, most of it not good these days, I'm sure your seeing it all from above or perhaps, your around us still. I cannot believe a year has almost gone by already. Really wish you were here. I love you Dad!

It's been over 6 months since we lost you. Not a day goes by that I do not miss and need my Father. Gone way too soon. I pray for you daily Dad. Pray for me too. I think you must be....and that you must still be around since so much has been happening since you passed. I starred in a commercial,I produced and starred in my own Catholic Reality Show which may be picked up and made into a movie, I became a Security Officer and work in the SAME building as you did and wear the SAME uniform as you did, the lotto #'s you and I always played and missed BOTH came out two days in a row....your Birthday and mine and on your funeral day and the very next day....both our birthdays back to back, and now it looks like I will be working a new film next week with actress Cathy Bates and actor Dustin Hoffman. I sure hope your seeing all this Dad, from where you are. You waited years to see me work like this and you died right before it all fibally started happening again. I think its because your praying for me in Heaven with Jesus and so there is no coincidence that things are finally picking up for me again. Hopefully your one of my Guardian Angels now. I love you and miss you SO MUCH Dad. I hope you can see me make you proud one day soon.

Dad....I miss you so much. Life and this Family and this Home is just not the same at all without you. Its unbearable. Yesterday was your 71st Birthday but instead of celebrating it with you as we planned, We spent it at your gravesite after your funeral. You cannot imagine how heart wrenching that was for us all. I'd give anything to have you back. Happy Birthday to the Greatest Father a guy like me could ever have wished to have...how blessed I was to have been YOUR Son. Love you Always and cannot wait to be with you again, Steven

Ralph was a decent, down to earth and wonderful man it was my privilege to know and occasionally work with for the City of New Haven, and later as a continuing friend.

I knew Ralph as a close childhood friend growing up in the Hill section of New Haven; he lived on Portsea Street and I on Christopher Street. We lost track of each other when we were forced to move as a result of redevelopment. Although it has been over 50 years I recognized him in this picture. It was good to read about his success as an adult and can see that he was very much loved and appreciated by family and friends alike. My condolences to his family.

Ralph was a great detective and mentor to all the young rookie detectives. Ralph was easy going and willing to teach what he knew. The NHPD suffered a great loss the day he retired and his family and friends now suffer a greater loss. Rest In Peace.
