To all of the Ott family, our thoughts and prayers are with you to get through this difficult time. It is so hard to lose someone we love because we miss them so much. I found a quote that kind of helps me to look at death with a different perspective. "While we are mourning the loss of our friend,
others are rejoicing to meet him behind the veil."

Dear Mrs.Ott:
Am very sorry to learn of Skip's death. However, he and you experienced a wonderful life together. I have fond memories of working with Skippy for 6 years with the Yale Lightweight Crew. He was a devoted rigger for the students during that time, 1966 - 1972.
My thoughts, wishes and love go out to you from Geneva, NY,

As a Yale oarsman (now an alum), I want to let Skippy's family know how we all loved him. He was always cheerful and did the technical stuff that we needed for keeping our boats and oars in shape. We will remember him. With condolences.
