LIGHT, ROBERT J. In Yale–New Haven Hospital, Thursday, April 3, 2014, Robert J. Light, 82, of Church St., Guilford, CT. Beloved husband of Gloria Greenfader Light. Born on December 20, 1931, in Orange, NJ, son of the late John Uhrich and Edith Llewellyn Reichman Light. Loving father of Nathan Light of Upsala, Sweden; Theo (Margaret) Light of Shippensburg, PA; Allison (David Powers) Light of San Francisco, CA; stepfather of Ronald (Janet Wong) Small of Ellington, CT and Alan Small of Ferndale, WA. Also survived by his brother Herbert Light of FL, his sister Elizabeth Lester of KY; and grandchildren, Julia, Becca, Benjamin, Samantha, Naomi and Kiril. Bob received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Yale University in 1954 and owned his own consulting firm. Bob showed his love for the Guilford community by his long-standing service to numerous boards, commissions and groups. Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, April 6 at 1:30 p.m. in Beaver Brook Cemetery, 82 Old Boston Post Rd., Clinton, CT.
