dematteo, salvatore n. Salvatore N. DeMatteo, 76, husband of Annamarie Perrotti DeMatteo of East Haven, passed away August 22, 2013 in the St. Raphael Campus of Yale New Hospital. Father of Dawn Ann DeMatteo of Wallingford and Salvatore J. (Joann) DeMatteo of Branford. Son of the late Angelo and Josephine Bova DeMatteo. Brother of Lucy Conte and Angelo DeMatteo, both of East Haven, Rosemarie Lindsay of North Branford and the late Josephine Smith and Richard DeMatteo. He also leaves his long time pet, Little Man. Prior to his retirement Sal was a Manager for the former First National Stores for 45 years. He was an Army Veteran. His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Monday morning at 10:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 11:00. Interment with Military Honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
