Salvatore Fanfarelli

FANFARELLI, SALVATORE G. Salvatore G. Fanfarelli, 83, of Orange, husband of the late Rachel Esposito Fanfarelli, passed away November 6, 2013 at Masonicare in Wallingford. He was born in New Haven on February 21, 1930, son of the late Joseph and Mary Carrano Fanfarelli. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, serving aboard the USS Fargo. He worked as an Auto Mechanic and in Auto Body Repair for many years. He loved playing pool and the piano, and was a member of the Orange Senior Center. He is survived by his son, Gerald Fanfarelli of Middletown; his daughter, Susan Cusano of West Haven; his sister, Marie Pastore of Hamden; four grandchildren, Melissa Huston, Krista Cusano, Maria Fanfarelli and Joseph Fanfarelli; his great grandson, Tyler Huston; and his sister-in-law, Celeste Denecke of North Carolina. He was predeceased by his son Joseph Robert Fanfarelli. His funeral Service will be held at 11 am on Saturday at Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven. Burial with military honors will follow in All Saints Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call from 9-11 am on Saturday prior to his funeral.
