Salvatore Pascale Obituary
PASCALE, SALVATORE Salvatore Pascale, 83, of West Haven entered into eternal rest on March 22, 2014, at CT Hospice. He was born in New Haven to Joseph A. and Rose (Fusco) Pascale on Sept. 27, 1931. Sal was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the U.S. Army. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Pascale, and his son, Joseph Pascale. He leaves his children Phyllis (Pascale) Gavin, Salvatore Pascale, Dominic Pascale, Michael Pascale & Rose Pascale; and also his sister, Gloria DeBenedetto. Sal leaves his longtime companion, Barbara Lazar of West Haven, and her children, James Lazar, Harry Lazar, Susan (Lazar) Jason & the late John Lazar. He is survived by his grandchildren, L.J., Devin, Barbara, Patty, Monica, Nicky, Sarah, Melinda, David & John Jr. He also leaves five great-grandchldren, several nieces and nephews, many dear friends, and his dear godson, Joseph Pascale III. Sal loved the times he spent on Cape Cod. He enjoyed crabbing, clamming, and playing miniature golf with the kids. He and Barb retired to Jupiter, FL, where they and the family shared many good times. Sal is best known for his love of fireworks. He lit up our lives as bright as his fireworks lit up the skies. Services 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Our Lady of Victory Church, West Haven. Military service to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CT Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
