Victor Beltrone

BELTRONE, VICTOR A. Victor A. Beltrone, age 84, of Derby passed away peacefully at Griffin Hospital on Wednesday, June 12, 2013. He was the devoted husband of the late Leila Lillian (Leahey) Beltrone for 40 years. Victor was born in Shelton on March 14, 1929 son of the late Isador and Theresa (Sotira) Beltrone and was a Derby resident for the past 40 years. He was a proud US Army veteran. Victor was the custodian at Emmett O'Brien Technical High School before retiring. He was a retired fireman for the White Hills Fire Department and formerly a sheriff in Shelton. He was the past president of the Adriatic Marchegian Club and a member of the Derby Senior Center. Victor was an avid Red Sox fan. He was the loving father of Victor I. Beltrone and his wife, Dawn of Derby, Theresa Langiness of Michigan, Kim Marcoux of Old Saybrook, Patricia Martin and her husband, Michael of Virginia Beach, VA, Lydia Faroni of Derby, Deborah Salemme of Clinton, grandfather to numerous cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, brother of Litoria Beltrone Kuwano and uncle to several nieces and nephews. Victor was predeceased by his first wife, Patricia (Aiello) Beltrone, his brother, Vincent Beltrone and sisters, Katherine Beltrone D'Eramo, Frances Beltrone Jones and Isadora L. Beltrone Kaminski. Friends may call on Monday evening from 3 -7pm at the Edward F. Adzima Funeral Home, 253 Elizabeth St., Derby. On Tuesday, his funeral will leave the funeral home at 10:30am to St. Mary Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Burial with full military honors will follow in Mt.
