Zacharias Hatzopoulos

Hatzopoulos, Zacharias (jack) Zacharias (Jack) Hatzopoulos of North Haven died peacefully September 5, 2013 at Connecticut Hospice. He was the husband of Jean Jaspersen Hatzopoulos. Father of Maria Mikolike and Zacharias (Jay) Hatzopoulos. Brother of Maria, Koula, Vyenia, Demetrius and Yanni. Grandfather of Niko and Gia Rose Mikolike, Adam Zachary, Alexandra Jean and Allyson Kayla Hatzopoulos. Jack was born in Piraeus, Greece, October 4, 1931 to the late Constantine and Paraskevi Toulfopouloy Hatzopolous. He served in the Greek navy and merchant marines prior to emigrating to the United States. He worked as a machinist at New England Die Casting. Jack was a huge Elvis Presley fan, an avid gardener, Yankees fan and lover of greyhounds. He owned a classic car and enjoyed going to car shows. Relatives and friends may call Monday morning from 10-11am at the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC., 11 Wooster Pl. and are invited to attend a funeral service in the funeral home at 11am.
