BIANCO, ANTHONY J., SR. Anthony J. Bianco, Sr., 81, of New Haven, died on Tuesday, January 21, at Connecticut Hospice. He is the husband of Ann D. Rubino Bianco. Anthony was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 11, 1932 to the late Joseph and Vincenza Morabito Bianco. Tony worked for 20 years at the Acne Chemical Company as an inside salesman until retiring in 1993. After retirement he spent a couple of years at East Haven Builders in their Trim Manufacturing department. More recently, he worked with his twin sons at their construction company, A & G Contracting as their Shop Manager before he became ill. Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons; Anthony (Gina) Bianco, Jr. of New Haven, Gerard (Beth) Bianco of North Haven, a daughter; Andrea J. (Michael) Palmucci of East Haven, 2 grandchildren; Antonio and Gabriella Bianco. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers; James, Angelo and Frank Bianco and a sister; Sarah Simione. Friends may call Friday morning at the EAST HAVEN MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 425 Main St., from 9 to 11 am. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 12 noon at St. Vincent dePaul Church. Burial with full military honors will take place in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
