Dick hovey alias "Dicker" was a real good guy. He came into the life of the Snyder family in the form of the MYC junior sailing program and left an indelible mark on us. He will always be remembered for the famous "necktie"{ enough said}, as comander of the well stocked commitee boat and most of all for the great instructional and inspirational words of wisdom given to a young sailor, non matter what level of skill. "Dicker" will be the subject of conversation on the water , at the bar and in front of a roaring fire, the testament to the master mariner. Windward - Leeward captain The Snyder Family

Dick, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your wonderful family. We'll never forget your warm smile and caring personality, your enthusiasm for all the good things in life and above all your friendship during all of these years. May your yacht always sail in the groove and may your skis turn effortlessly in the deep powders of heaven. PS -- we're sure God will laugh at your jokes as hard as we always have! Keep smilin' pal. We love you forever, the Lombards -- John, Loraine and Sydney
