BOUDREAU, JONATHAN WILLIAM Jonathan William Boudreau, 45, of North Haven, CT, passed away May 10th of heart failure. Jon is the son of Marie E. Boudreau, and the late William J. Boudreau of North Haven. He is survived by his sister Leslie DeGiacomo (Paul) and brother Justin Boudreau (Brandi), in addition to his beloved niece and nephews, Jessica, Evan, and Griffin. He is also survived by his uncle Walter Dembiczak and cousins Michael and Carol. Jon was predeceased by his loving aunt Jane Dembiczak, and also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. To quote a friend, “Jon was an unrepentant truth teller fueled by so much heart”. He was a complex person with many facets, and had a great empathy for people with mental or physical challenges. He was very successful working with them and spent years as a peer counselor at Massachusetts Job Corps. He went on to help run a group home for the developmentally disabled, with Almadan Corp. He was clever and humorous; a very knowledgeable pundit on history and the political scene; loved telling jokes to make people laugh; was a competitive poker player and a voracious reader. Jon’s outgoing and social personality equipped him to be a successful customer sales rep while recently working for Logo Sportswear Inc. He was passionate about sports; a good friend and an adoring uncle to Jessica, Evan and Griffin. We love you Jon! The world is a lesser place without you. A memorial mass for Jon will be held at 10a.m. on May 21st at Church Of The Ressurection, 115 Pond Hill Rd. Wallingford, CT. A reception in celebration of his life will immediately follow at University of New Haven, Arbeiter Maenner Chor Hall, 420 Boston Post Road, West Haven, Ct 06516.

A little late but with all my heart.
I remember that darling little guy in his yellow suit with his red hair when his proud Mom brought him to the lab. We were all like new aunts and uncles. Now we are saddened aunts and uncles. God sent Jon with a job to do and he did it. Sounds like he will live on in many lives. Marie and family, you have the sympathy of our church prayer chain and pray God give you comfort.

Jon and I were dear friends and I will miss him always. I know how much he loved his family, even though he was one of the least sentimental people I've ever known.

He had a special place in his heart for Jessica, and for Evan and Griffin. He believed that they could do anything they wanted to in this world. He was so very proud of all of you!

Honey and Bo were also very special to him, no matter how many times he implied otherwise. He would grumble, but then start laughing about their antics. He used to let them "talk" to me when we were on the phone together.

Jon loved his parents and siblings, too. Never, ever doubt it. His concern for his mother during these last months only endeared him to me more.

I hadn't heard from Jon in a few weeks, but that is not unusual for us. We either talked every day, or we'd go without talking for a few weeks and come back to the every day routine.

The world is a smaller, colder place without his warmth and humour.

I wish you comfort, knowing he loved you so...he is watching over you, as only he can do--with a great deal of humour.

I remember when I was dealing with poor life choices. I reached out to many for advice and you were the only one who responded. You encouraged me, let me know that I would make it through it, and then you invited me out for a beer. Now I wish I had taken you up on that offer.
