LUCCA, SCOTT A. Scott A. Lucca, 33, of New Haven, formerly of South Windsor, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 18, 2012. He was born November 10, 1978 in Hartford, son of Frank T. Lucca and the late Janet (Wolczanski) Lucca. Scott graduated from South Windsor High School, Class of 1997 and attended Eastern Connecticut State University, earning an associates degree. He was involved in the music business in stage production at various venues around the country. He enjoyed listening to music, noting that he had traveled to 48 states before he was 25 years old. His family and many friends throughout New Haven will sadly miss him. Scott did not know the meaning of the word acquaintance only "friend." Besides his father, he is survived by his brother, Frank M. Lucca and wife, Wendy Lee, his sister Lea Costello and husband, Steven, nieces and nephews, Tara Rose and Thomas Lucca, Margaret, Mario, and Domenica Costello, his uncles and aunts, Peter and Joyce Lucca, Rosanne Tancredi and Serena and Ronald Guerrette, his maternal grandmother, Helen Wolczanski as well as many cousins among them two very dear and close cousins, Monica Alford and Jessica Vanderberg. Besides his mom, he was predeceased by his step-mom who adopted him, Linda Rose Lucca. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm at the D'Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield.
