SOSNOVICH, STACIA DOMOZYCH Stacia Domozych Sosnovich, 90, of Robin Rd., Seymour, entered eternal rest on Wed., Dec.18th at Bishop Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton. She was the beloved wife of the late Peter Sosnovich, Sr. Stacia was born in Seymour on Jan. 3, 1923, daughter of the late Anthony Domozych and Stella Parulski Domozych. She attended Seymour Public Schools. Stacia was an Inspector at several area companies including: Sikorsky Aircraft, Naugatuck Rubber Co., Tingue Mills, the Bassett Co.,& Waterman Bic Co. She retired in 1977 from the Schick Razor Co. Stacia was a communicant of St. Augustine Church and a member of the Ansonia Senior Center. She enjoyed gardening and going to the movies. She was an avid New England Patriots Fan. Her greatest joy was in caring for her devoted family and spending time with them as well as her dear friends. Stacia is survived by her devoted sons: Richard and his wife Diane of Seymour, Donald and his wife Patricia also of Seymour, and Peter Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Stewart, FL; brothers: Walter Domozych of Shelton and Joseph Domozych of Seymour. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren: Michael, Donald, Scott, and Richard; and her cherished great grandchildren: Zack, Emily, Samantha, Natalie, Aiden, Jordan, and Tyler; and 27 nieces and nephews. In addition to her beloved husband, she was predeceased by her brothers: John Lazowski, Stanley, Clarence, and Edward Domozych; and sisters: Jean Cosgrove and Ann Christian. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 11 am at the Anthony V. Chepulis Funeral Home, 47 Washington Ave., Seymour for a 11:30 am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Augustine Church. Interment will be in the family plot at St. Augustine’s Cemetery in the spring. Friends are invited to greet the family at the funeral home on Sat. from 10 am. In lieu of flowers Stacia requested that memorial donations be made to St. Augustine Church. Stacia’s family would like to thank the staff of the Bishop Wicke Health Care Center in Shelton for their compassionate care and support.
