Timothy Bowes Obituary
BOWES, APOSTLE TIMOTHY V. Apostle Timothy V. Bowes, 65, of West Haven, departed this life April 21, 2012. He was the beloved husband of Evangelist Lillie M. Bowes. Born in Chester, PA, July 1, 1946, he was the son of the late Edward Beamon, Sr. and Missionary Cordelia Bowes. Apostle Bowes was pastor and founder of Called by Christ Holiness Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Dozier C. Shields. He received an honorable discharge from the US Army. In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters, Tammy, Tara and Tracy Bowes, Charlisie and Nyeshia Bland, Cameron (Jason) Taylor and Samone Davis; sons, Timothy Bowes, Jr. and William Terrance Bryant; a brother, Edward Beamon; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Sheila L. Beamon. A celebration of Apostle Bowes' life and legacy will be held Friday, April 27, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Matthew's UFWB Church, 400 Dixwell Ave., New Haven. Viewing and visitation will be held at the church from 9:00-10:00 A.M. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Professional services entrusted to Curvin K.
