LAW, ROBERT T. Robert T. Law, 64, of West Haven, CT departed this life on January 28, 2014 surrounded by his family at home. Bob is survived by his loving wife and soul mate Diane Keefe, son of the late John F. and Helen Bray Law, brother John (Elaine) Law of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, niece Kimberly Law of Ocean City, Maryland, nephew Jason (Kelly) Law of Boulder, Colorado, niece Audrey Keefe of Tucson, Arizona, niece Julie Keefe of Ringwood, New Jersey, mother-in-law Anna Keefe of West Nyack, New York, and brothers-in-law Patrick (Susan) Keefe of Ringwood, New Jersey and Michael (Barbara Mabry) Keefe of West Nyack, New York. Bob was a school psychologist for the West Haven Board of Education for 32 years until his retirement in 2005 and he touched the lives of many, many students over the years. Bob also was an adjunct professor at SCSU and UNH. He was a practitioner-in-residence at UNH in the graduate education department, teaching and sharing his first-hand knowledge with blossoming teachers. Bob graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Quinnipiac University where he was a member of the TKE fraternity. He also received advanced degrees from SCSU and worked toward his PhD at Fordham University in NYC. Bob loved outdoor activities of all kinds including golf and running and he loved to play racquetball with his buddies. Bob also loved cards, especially poker and could be seen at the poker tables at Mohegan Sun. He loved to travel with his wife, especially to places where the sun warmed the soul including Naples, Florida. Bob developed a talent for cooking and was known to steal recipes and claim them as his own. Mostly, Bob loved his family and friends and loved to talk and entertain. He brought a smile to all who knew him and he made the world a brighter place. He will be missed dearly. His funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME 830 Jones Hill Rd. West Haven FRIDAY morning at 9:15 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Paul’s Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Beaverdale Memorial Park.
