LECZA, MARGARET (PEGGY) Margaret (Peggy) Lecza of Guilford, formerly of Branford died on Tuesday, February 4 at her home. She was the wife of Ronald Lecza of Guilford. She was the mother of Diana Govus of Stillwater, PA, Susan Lecza of Branford, and Sandy Lecza (wife Kim) of Branford. She was the sister of Mary Cummings of New Haven. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alex, Christopher, Nicholas, Melissa, and Kelsey. She was predeceased by her brother Louis Guida and her sisters Madeline Shugrue and Ann Eddy. Peggy was born in New Haven on April 22, 1934, a daughter of Albert and Anna McKiernan Guida. She taught in the Guilford School System for ten years and was also worked for S.N.E.T. for fifteen years. She was a long time Branford resident until recently moving to Guilford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday at 11:00 at St. Therese Church in Branford. Burial will be private. Friends may call prior to the mass from 9:30 to 10:30 at the W.S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main St., Branford. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Francis School, 423 Ferry St., New Haven, CT 06513.
