RODRIGUEZ, BERNARD S. Bernard S. Rodriguez of Branford, died Wednesday, February 12, 2014 in Connecticut Hospice. He was the husband of Bonnie Duggins Sullivan Rodriguez. Mr. Rodriguez was born May 21, 1920 in New York City, son of the late Alphonse and Selita Sierra Rodriguez. He was a World War II veteran of the U. S. Army Air Corps. He worked as a mechanical engineer for Greist Manufacturing for many years until retiring in 1986. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Mary Lou Dennis (Richard) Dragnac of Murfreesboro, TN, Bernard Shea of New London and Clare (Jeff) Miller of Bethany; his stepchildren, David (Kathy) Sullivan of Branford, Michael Sullivan, and Karen (Joe) Oros of Glastonbury. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, six step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first two wives, Mary and Clare Rodriguez and his stepson, Kevin Sullivan. Relatives and friends may call Thursday morning from 10:30 – 11:30, with a memorial service at 11:30, at the W. S. Clancy Memorial Funeral Home, 244 North Main Street, Branford.
