CIMMINO, ROSE Rose Cimmino of New Haven passed away peacefully at her home February 23, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Haven on May 7, 1926, daughter of the late Giuseppe and Fortuna Volino Cimmino, and had worked for many years for Fair Manufacturing before retiring. She was known fondly by her family as “Rose of Wooster Square.” She is the sister of the late Mary Marino, Louise DePino, Carmel Giaimo, Anna Giaimo, and John, Gennaro, and Nicholas Cimmino. She is survived by many loving nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Her funeral will leave from the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME INC., 11 Wooster Place, Friday morning at 9:30. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 10. Burial in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Thursday from 4–7pm.
