PINKUS, SHERWOOD (PINKY) IRVING Sherwood (Pinky) Irving Pinkus, 93, loving husband to Ruth Pinkus, passed away on March 1, 2014, with his loving family by his side. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his three daughters, Lynne Franford, Susan Abate and her husband Vinny, and Mindy Caviochia and her husband Antonio. He also leaves six grandchildren, Marisa, Brian, and wife Sarah, Emily, Jenna, Chelsey and Julie. Sherwood was predeceased by his brother Harold and sister Ruth Pinkus, as well as his son-in--law Michael Franford. Sherwood was known for his kind and gentle manner. He was adored by his family and found no greater pleasure in life than spending time with them. He instilled wonderful values in his children and took great pride in their accomplishments. He will be forever in their hearts. Funeral services at The Beth Israel Cemetery, Fitch Street, New Haven, TUESDAY morning at 10:30 o’clock. A period of mourning will be held at 1026 Field Dr., Woodbridge, Tuesday until 8 pm, and Wednesday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Memorial contributions may be sent to Wounded Warrior, P.O.
