LEMAY, PHILIP A. Philip A. Lemay, 84, of Eastern St., New Haven, CT, passed away on April 1, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Claire T. Pisani Lemay for 51 years. He leaves behind a daughter, Renee Rogers; three grandchildren: Melissa DeStefano of Lancaster, PA; James Philip Rogers of Zaragoga, Spain; and Aimie Rogers of Richmond, VA; as well as six great-grandchildren. Born in New Haven, October 31, 1929, to the late Arthur and Margaret (Kelleher) Lemay, he was a beloved brother to the late Agnes Lemay, Margaret Quintin and Winifred Ranne. He attended Sacred Heart School and Hillhouse High School. He served in the U.S. Navy on the USS Arcadia (AD-23), as well as the Civil Air Patrol. Employed by Atlas Aero Corp, M&B Electronics as well as a process engineer at Revere Corp. of America. A Knights of Columbus member, a gifted carpenter, engineer, realtor and entrepreneur, he was truly a “Jack of all trades.” “All the world’s a stage, And all the men and women merely players. They have their exits and their entrances; And one man in his time plays many parts.” His family would like to express their gratitude for the wonderful care that he received at Yale–New Haven Hospital, St. Raphael’s Campus.
