EPSTEIN, ETHEL (BRODY) GOLDBERG Ethel (Brody) Goldberg Epstein, 94, of 18 Tower Lane, New Haven, devoted wife of the late Abe Goldberg, died at Masonicare Health Center, Wallingford, on April 20, 2014. Born in New Haven, Dec. 6, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Julius & Ida(Kishner) Brody. Beloved Mother of Rhoda Goldberg of Houston, Tx., Frances and David Cohen of New Haven, Howard and Marsha Goldberg of New Haven. Dear Sister of Lionel(Mildred) Brody of New Haven & the late Lillian Silverman(Carl) and loving Sister-in-Law of Shirley Chain(Harold) of New Haven. Cherished Grandmother of Jacob & Lucas Goldberg. Also survived by Treasured Nieces & Nephews. The family would like to thank Ethel’s Tower One Tower East caregivers, April DeShield, Durcell Salter and Maria Rivera. Ethel’s family is grateful to theTower One Tower East staff for their thoughtfulness and caring over the years. Ethel’s family is also grateful for the care provided by the Hospice and Acute Care Unit staff at Masonicare. Funeral Services at Beth El Memorial Park, Warner St., Hamden WEDNESDAY morning at 10:00 o’clock. Memorial Contributions may be sent to Tower Foundation, Inc., 18 Tower Lane, New Haven, CT. 06519. A Period of Mourning will be observed at 275 Central Ave New Haven, CT on April 23rd and April 26th. On April 24th the family will sit shiva at 18 Tower Lane.
