LaMONACA, BEVERLY Beverly LaMonaca, wife of the late Salvatore J. LaMonaca, Jr. of Branford, died Thursday May 22, 2014 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford. Mrs. LaMonaca was born July 7, 1942, daughter of the late John and Josephine Mastromarino Proto. She had worked as a caterer for Marra’s, Inc. for many years until retiring. She is survived by her children, Salvatore (Casandra) LaMonaca, III, of East Haven, Stacie LaMonaca, and Sheryl Raffile, both of Branford; her grandchildren, Mark and Andrew Raffile; and her sister, Rosemary (John) Melillo of New Haven. She was predeceased by her brother John Proto, Jr. Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial Mass of Christian Burial Friday, May 30, 2014, at 11:00 at St. Mary Church, Branford. THERE ARE NO CALLING HOURS AND BURIAL WILL BE PRIVATE.
