Obituary Condolences

MISIEWICZ, BEATRICE ANNE Orange--Beatrice Anne Misiewicz entered into eternal rest peacefully on June 30th at her family homestead in Orange. She was the devoted wife of the late Albert J. Misiewicz for 47 years. The loving mother to Melissa Misiewicz and her husband Matthew Vea, Albert Jr. and his wife Nicole Cignoli, Doreen Marciales and her husband Baldemar Marciales, Michael Misiewicz and his wife Camille Misiewicz and Valerie Misiewicz. She also is survived by 4 grandchildren and one sister Magdalene Moscato of West Haven. She is also predeceased by sister and brothers, Dorothy, Peter and Joseph Taraskevich. Born in Ansonia on May 4, 1931, daughter of the late Peter and Margaret (Yankowski) Taraskevich. She is a graduate of the Boardman Trade School in New Haven, Class of 1948. During her life, she enjoyed taking care of the family property in Orange, hiking and loved the outdoors. Her greatest pleasure was devoting her life to raising her five children, as well as enjoying puzzles, card games and engaging everyone in conversation. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 pm in the Bennett Funeral Home 91 N. Cliff St. Ansonia. Her funeral on Thursday will leave the funeral home at 8:30 am to St. Marys Church for a mass at 9:00 am. The family would like to thank the Visiting Angels and VITAS Innovative Hospice Care and in particular heartfelt gratitude to her wonderful care giver, Mary White. Donations may be made to VITAS in care of the Bennett Funeral Home.
