PUGLISI, LOUISE GIORDANO Louise Giordano Puglisi, of Woodbridge, died peacefully at home August 9, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Frank Joseph Puglisi, Sr. Mother of Mary Ann (Joseph) Chiaia, Mario (Eileen), Frank Joseph (Anita) and Anthony Puglisi. Sister of Adeline Stango and the late Carmella Marinacccio, Julia Liguori, Antoinette Laudano, Mary Carasone, Amelia Mentone, Marie Boccamaiello, Sue DiBianco, Anne Edwards, Anthony, John and Ralph Giordano. Grandmother of Frank III, Michael, Jaime, Mario Jr., Christine, Laura, Jimmy, Anthony Jr., Sarah, Rachel, Anthony and Maria and great-grandmother of Isabella, Brianna, Lilly, Joey and Adrienne. Louise was born in New Haven April 2, 1922, to the late Anthony Giordano and Antoinette DeLauro Giordano Mastrianni. She was a girl scout, loved to dance and was an exceptional cook. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing and playing cards. Louise was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Her family will be forever grateful to her caregiver Joyce Bennett. Her funeral will leave the IOVANNE FUNERAL HOME, INC. 11 Wooster Pl. Wednesday morning at 10 for a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Assumption, Mother Church, Litchfield Turnpike at 10:30. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
