HOGAN, MELISSA M. On December 9th, Melissa Marottoli Hogan passed from this life, after five years of living with lung cancer. Beautiful bride to her husband, Matthew Hogan, precious daughter to Salvatore and Ali Marottoli, beloved sister to Kristen (Michael) Peck and twin Lindsay (Adam) Greenberg, loving auntie to Lilly and Hunter Peck, granddaughter of Alfred Brigante, Sr., favorite cousin, niece, and granddaughter to her supportive wonderful family. Best friend to Mari Ruck and countless lovely friends. She is now an angel to us all. Melissa we will forever miss your magical smile, cherish the fantastic memories, and crave the sound or your laughter. Now, Melly, you can finally rest, you fought so hard. Find peace, as we release you from our arms to those of the Blessed Mother. Rest in Peace, sweet Melissa. The Marottoli and Hogan families would like to thank the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Dr. Pasi Janne and Margaret McMullin, NP, for their care and friendship throughout Melissa's journey. Thank you for giving us many happy years with our blessed Mel. We especially thank the Smilow Cancer Hospital MICU. Anna Laporte, who gracefully guided us through our last weeks with Mel, Johanna Vasquez, Odette Espaillat and group of fantastic nurses, PCA's and respiratory therapists who treated Melissa like family.
