DAVIDSON, TERESA DOYLE Teresa Doyle Davidson, 87, wife of the late Roy W. Davidson, passed away November 11, 2013 at Masonicare Health Center in Wallingford. She was born in New Haven on June 9, 1926, daughter of the late Timothy and Margaret Landers Doyle. She worked for over 40 years in Directory Sales for SNET. She was proud of her Irish heritage and loved traveling to Ireland and was a collector of Waterford crystal and Belleek china. She was a member of the Pioneers, New Haven Women’s Club and the Westville Garden Club. She was devout in her faith and was a Eucharistic minister at St. Aedan’s Church in Westville. She is survived by her stepchildren Betsey Davidson D’Andrea (Jack Brandt), of Woodbridge, W. Gilroy Davidson (Susan) of Campbell, NY, and Katherine Davidson (Dean Nanos) of Willington, CT; her step grandchildren Susan D’Andrea (Matthew Asaro), Kathryn Emons (Darin), Michael D’Andrea (Nell), Peter D’Andrea (Nicole), Ellen Loura (David), Douglas Davidson, Kate Harrington (Robert), Karen Moore (Michael), Jennifer Olender (David), Christopher Davidson, Bridget Davidson, Brenna Bardini (Eric), and Stephen Weber; 20 step great grandchildren, 2 nephews, John and Daniel Metz. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Doyle Metz and step granddaughter Shane Costello. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Ramage 3 at Masonicare for the excellent care and compassion given to Teresa. Her funeral will be from Keenan Funeral Home, 238 Elm Street, West Haven on Saturday at 10 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 at St. Aedan’s Catholic Church, 112 Fountain St., New Haven. Burial will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call from 9-10 am at the funeral home on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association – CT Chapter, 2075 Silas Deane Highway, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
