Ben was a lively fellow full of great stories to share. Visiting him on sunny afternoons when I was home, and writing to him when I was not made me appreciate our friendship even more. I learned a great deal from Ben, as I know others have as well; and, in this sense, he will always live on.

Teresa and Ben were so sweet, so compassionate and caring. They always remembered our daughter, Tricia, who was killed on Pan am 103-sending notes and Mass cards throughout the years. Also, Ben would let us know if he personally knew the recipient of Tricia's scholarship. Such a gentle soul!

Yes, Carolyn, I was part of that little group of preadolescent girls who practiced the bop in Mr. Klimczak's room. And, yes, we all wanted to dance with him. -- Nancy, Washington Street School

Ben, my most favorite teacher of all time. I was lucky enough to have you for 4th AND 5th grade in the 60's at Washington Street School. You left impressions on me that are still with me to this day. Your sense of humor was second to none. You touched the lives of so many...a true gentleman, exceptional teacher, and most recently, wonderful friend. Thank you. Rest in peace. You will be very missed.
