PRATT, SETH M. Seth M. Pratt, 81, of New Haven, husband of Stephanie (Krenicki) Pratt and the late Leona (Klepps) Pratt, passed away on March 25, 2014, at the VA Medical Center, West Haven. Seth was born March 20, 1933, in Waterbury, CT. He was the son of the late Clarence & Alice (Shaw) Pratt. Seth was a graduate of Terryville High School and General Motors Institute, Flint, Michigan. He was S/Sgt in U.S. Air Force from 1953 to 1957 during the Korean War, serving in Nevada; Thule, Greenland; and Florida. Prior to his retirement he was employed by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft, Lakeridge Tax District, the Fellowship House, New Haven, creator of Timeless Toys of New Haven and plant manager at the former Plume & Atwood. Seth was a member of St. Michael Ukrainian Church, Terryville and Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Woodbridge. He served on Board of Tax Review, Board of Selectmen & Republican Town Committee in Plymouth. He enjoyed singing with the barbershop chorus, camping, boating, golfing & gardening. Besides his wife, he is survived by his children: Donna Fabiani of Madison, Laura McMullen of Arroyo Grande, CA, and Sandra Spiegelhalter of Jupiter, FL; his brother, Edwin Pratt of Wyoming, DE; his twin sister, Shirley Miller of Yarmouth Port, MA; and his grandchildren, Michael and Kalah Poglitsch, and Ashley and Ryan Spiegelhalter. He was predeceased by his sister Doris Gorham and grandson Jonathan Fabiani. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 31, 2014, 10:30 a.m. from the Scott Funeral Home, 169 Main St., Terryville, to St. Michael Ukrainian Church, Terryville, for a liturgy at 11:00 a.m. Viewing will be at the funeral home Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fellowship Place, 441 Elm Street, New Haven, CT 06511; or the Wounded Warrior Project, 4899 Belfort Road, Jacksonville, FL 32256. www.scottfuneralhomeinc.com
