Obituary Condolences

GIORI, CEASAR Ceasar Giori, 85, formerly of Woodbridge, CT passed away on August 26, 2014 peacefully at his home in Buckeye, AZ after a long battle with heart disease. He was the devoted husband of Virginia (Kelly) Giori, and also the late Caroline (Montano) Giori. Ceasar was born in New Haven, CT to the late Teresa (Cretella) D’Alessio. He leaves behind three children and their spouses, Michael Giori and his wife Madeline of Seymour, CT, Roger Giori and his wife Joyce of Orange, CT, and Teresa (Giori) Mayo and her husband Michael of Buckeye, AZ. Grandfather of Christopher, Steven (wife Krysha), Christina, Nicholas, and David Giori, Gregory Santone, Jr. and Michael Santone; Great-Grandfather of Jade Giori. Ceasar was pre-deceased by two sisters, Domenica D’Eugenio and Margaret Wetmore. Ceasar also leaves behind three step-children and their spouses Virginia and Thomas Cibenko, Stephanie and Stephen Taylor, and Jeffrey and Serena Webbe; as well as 14 step-grandchildren and 8 step-great-grandchildren. Ceasar served in the United States Army during the Korean War era, and was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed a long career as a licensed electrician and was employed by the New Haven Parking Authority for many years. He loved to cook and share his delicious culinary creations with his family, friends and even strangers, such as pasta fagioli, lasagna and cheesecake, to name a few favorites. He was always there with a helping hand to whoever needed it. Ceasar lovingly cared for his first wife during her 19 year illness, and was then able to find happiness and love again in the second chapter of his life when he moved to Sundance Active Adult Community in Buckeye, Arizona.
