BEAMON, IAN J. Ian J. Beamon, 24 of New Haven was born August 23, 1990 in Philadelphia, PA the son of Karen Jarvis and John Beamon. Ian passed away on January 6, 2015. He will be remembered for his skills with computers, his engaging intellect and love of debate. He leaves to cherish his memory, uncles J. Wayne Jarvis of Madison, Ct and Phillip W. Beamon, Sr. of New Haven, aunts Gayle Hall of New Haven, Patricia Hazelton of Maryland and Kim Beamon Morton of Coatesville, PA, and a host of close relatives and friends. Ian was predeceased by his very close cousin “God brother” Robert Wilson, and his grandparents Joe and Vida Jarvis of New Haven and John U. and Rachel Beamon of New Haven. A celebration of his life will take place TODAY, Friday, January 16, 2015 visitation at 9a.m. until 10 a.m. with service immediately following at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 111 Whalley Ave., New Haven, CT. Surely, Ian will be missed. Karen,I did not learn of his passing until a few minutes ago. You know how much we all loved him. He was such a gifted young man. His artistic abilities, sense of humor, engaging personality and his loving kindness were just a few of the many things that made him special to me early on. May God bless you and your family as you remember all the good times, all the fabulous conversations; and his beautiful inquisitive mind and creativity. For the simple fact that I got a chance to know Ian was a blessing enough, for the 2 years that I've known him I wouldn't change a thing. My heart tightens just thinking that I won't be able to call him and we talk about whatever popped up in our minds, we literally can have a 2 hours conversation about the weather and not get bored. It brings tears to my eyes just writing this message , until next time. Rest on my love.

one of the sweetest souls I had the privilege of learning beside for 6 years of my teaching career - he was one of those students who loved to know the WHY and HOW of everything - phenomenal with computers and able to utilize his uniquely ABLED skills to overcome many challenges.....one of my best teachers for sure. He graduated the year I retired and he told me one day before his graduation that I had graduated too! RIP Ian.......I will never forget you.
