VIRGINIA ENGSTROM Obituary

ENGSTROM, VIRGINIA C. Virginia C. Lacas Engstrom, 86, formerly of Ezra Street, North Haven passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at the Whitney Manor, Hamden. She was the wife of the late John C. Engstrom, Sr. Virginia was born in Bridgeport on February 2, 1928; daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine Philbrook Lacas. Mother of Virginia Cassella, John C. Engstrom, Jr. and the late Stephen Louchen. Mother-in-law of the late John Cassella. Sister of Marie Smolko and the late Andrew Lacas. Also survived by five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to meet directly at the office of All Saints Cemetery, 700 Middletown Avenue, North Haven on Friday morning at 11:30 and follow in procession to the graveside for a funeral service. There will be no visiting hours. The North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue has been entrusted with the arrangements. www.northhavenfuneral.com
