Joe, You were a unique model of what the world could be. Your ability to bring out the best in everyone you touched was a real sign of greatness. We found the bond of friendship and dentistry at UConn in 1977.
Joe was a master dentist, he taught me many techniques I still use in my practice. We shared our military friendship as well, Joe`s Naval career and my Air Force career. It was a honor to be his associate for 4 years. His love of cars was also my passion. I will always remember Joe, and I celebrate his life long contributions to mankind. My deepest sympathy to all of his family.

Doctor Bodner was one of the first people I met when the Navy brought me to the area twenty years ago. Over the years, we have shared many sea stories, world observations, and family updates. I thank him for his Navy service and for his dedicated service to the field of dentistry. I miss him and will remember him always.
