EDWARD ESPOSITO Obituary

ESPOSITO, DR. EDWARD R. Dr. Edward R. Esposito passed away on January 22, 2017 peacefully at home with his family by his side. He was 93 years old. He was born in New Haven, CT. Edward attended Yale University where his education was interrupted by serving in the United States Army during World War II. When discharged, he continued his education at the University of Pennsylvania where he graduated from the School of Dental Medicine. He practiced dentistry for forty years in Milford, CT and gained the respect and gratitude of his many patients. He founded the Milford Dental Society and was awarded a Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry. Edward was a member of Milford Kiwanis Club, Milford Chamber of Commerce, St. Mary’s Holy Name Society and served on the board of Race Brook Country Club, Orange, CT. He retired to Sarasota, FL in 1991, and was a member of St. Patrick’s parish and was also an active member of the Meadows Country Club. Husband of 66 years to his beloved wife Josephine; Father of six loving children and spouses, Jayne Walsh (Francis), Edward Esposito II (Juli), Susan DeRosa, Sally Gibson (Bruce), Dr. Daniel Esposito (Joanne) and Amy Cassidy (Irving); Grandfather of twelve cherished grandchildren, Jonathan, Erin, Thomas, Luke, Gabriel, Kristian, Evan, Liam, Nicolas, Andrew, Graham and Edie. Services are private, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
