Ed was a high school classmate and one of my oldest and dearest friends. His photo in my Bar Mitzvah album proves it. We didn't see each other much after he and Maxine moved to FL, but always spoke at length on special occasions. He will be missed by me and his friends. He cared deeply for Maxine and his children. Rest in Peace Ed.

Cousin Eddie Moore was a great luncheon companion, where on napkins, he would draw maps (which I still have) showing where my grandmother and his great aunt (one in the same) came from in Baronovich, Russia. I missed him when he moved to FL.
Eddie's obituary failed to mention that he was a lineman on one of the best Yale football teams in the mid 50s when Yale defeated a heavily favored Army team in front of 70,000 screaming fans at the Yale Bowl. I was always proud of all of Eddie's accomplishments.
Sherry and I are so sad for Maxine, family, and friends. The Moores were so gracious when we visited them in FL and took us all over to see the memorable sights.

I will remember you, Ed, with your smile and kind look of a man who truly cared about people. Thank you for being a friend - say hello to Bruce please.

Ed hired me in the early seventies as the tennis pro at the Paugusset Club in Orange. He was very supportive and helped me establish myself in coaching tennis which I still do to this day. My condolences to Maxine and the entire family.

So many memories...but the one that sticks out is when I was going to the prom with Stephen and had photos taken of a couple of the dresses I was thinking of. Ed looked at one and said if I was to wear that one, he would take me!
Rest In Peace. My condolences to you all, Maxine, Stephen, Bruce and Tommy.

Not having brothers of my own I was given two when I married Norm and one when my one and only sister married Ed....the two older ones, I call "big brother". Sadly, after a long battle, my 1st. "Older brother","Edderd"....for many years he was just, well, my brother-in-law,. Our relationship changed over the last 10 years, or so...we bonded, so to speak; we could laugh,,talk, take walks together and be there to support one another when our Maxine had her ups and downs with illness...I will treasure those moments..rest in peace, dear brother; part of my heart goes with you! "Lalue of the North", a term of endearment from you''!
