Harry, or as we called him "Herschel" was a great friend and fellow model railroader. We had wonderful times together. He is still very much missed to this day!

Nettie,
I loved working with Harry as his student, and loved him as a mentor. I guess I met him in the fifties when he played for Terry Signore, but really got to know him at Neighborhood Music School as my teacher. Please remember you have many friends who are thinking of you at this sad time, and we are all missing Harry.

I am so grateful to Harry for being such a consummate musician. He was my first oboe teacher, 50 years ago, and he patiently and beautifully taught me the art of performing. I loved learning the craft of reedmaking too. When he played duets during some of our lessons, it was a gift. My lifelong love of classical and baroque music was inspired by his brilliant example. His life was a constant blessing to everyone, and I offer my condolences to Nettie and his beloved family.

My heart is so sad to hear of Harry's passing. He was my oboe instructor 25 years ago. I always loved his lessons. My favorite memories are when, during a lesson, he would pick up his oboe and accompany me. As much as I would try to stay on track, I always ended up breaking my embouchure because it sounded so lovely, I couldn't help but smile. Oh- he was so patient! It was a great privilege to have him as my instructor! My condolences to Nettie and the Bartocetti family.

To Nettie and her family, our deepest sympathies from Christine and me.
Harry was a wonderful friend and an integral part of our model railroad group.
We all enjoyed when Harry invited the "boys" over to have coffee and talk about trains.
