Frances Driscoll

1920 - 2017

Frances (Daley) Jasaitis Driscoll 97, of New Haven and Wallingford passed away on September 4, 2017. She was born June 15, 1920 in New Haven to Charles and Anna (McMahon) Daley. Frances is survived by her sons, Anthony Jasaitis (Claire), Kevin Driscoll (Gabriella), Brian Driscoll (Patricia) and daughter Maureen Holden along with nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Driscoll (1981), and a sister June Merico. Frances' love and devotion to her family extended to her job of 25 years at Phoenix Press where she was known as "Director of First Impressions." The warmth and caring that she gave to all whom were lucky enough to cross paths with her continued to the end of her life. She embodied unconditional love and was a true force of good in the world. The family wishes to thank those who cared for Mom at Masonicare Health Center, with special thanks to Kim Boganski, Caroline Robinson, and Margarett Gettinger. Your love, compassion, and caring was ever present. Family will receive friends from 8:30 to 9:30am on Friday September 8, 2017 at the Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home (Clancy Funeral Home), 43 Kirkham Avenue, East Haven. Funeral Procession will leave Clancy-Palumbo Funeral Home on Friday at 9:40am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Francis Catholic Church, 397 Ferry St., New Haven with private Committal.
