Anthony Stamato Obituary

SEATTLE, Wash. - Anthony M. Stamato, 79, died Friday, May 16, 2014, in Seattle, Wash.

Anthony was born in Garfield and raised in Lodi. When he was young he proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. Anthony loved to help people and his legacy of giving will never be forgotten. He will be truly missed by his family and friends.

Anthony was predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Mary (Albano) Stamato, and brothers, Carmine and Louis Stamato.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 23, at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, 17 Elm St., Newton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation at http://pancreaticcancerfoundation.com.
