BRANCHVILLE - Cary R. Mattos, 44, of Branchville, beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter, died Saturday, March 15, 2014.
Born in Newton, Cary lived in Branchville for many years. She was employed by H.J. Hautau & Sons Florist in Frankford Township. An accomplished gardener, Cary had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Her proudest accomplishment was being a stay-at-home mom for 16 years. She took great pride in the fact that her sons turned into terrific young men.
Cary is survived by her husband of 24 years, Daniel Mattos; her two sons, Reed and Quinn Mattos; her parents, Wayne and Lydia (Hamm) Orr; and her brothers, Kelo Orr and wife, Michele, and Troy Orr and wife, Nancy. Cary also is survived by her in-laws, Gilbert and Joanna Mattos; brother-in-law, Kevin Mattos and wife, Sue; sisters-in-law, Corinne Sodano and Tracey Mattos; nephews, Derek, Ethan, Nathan and Seth Orr, Tyler and Danny Rogers, and Tanner Sodano; and nieces, Caitlin and Rachel Orr, Mary Mattos and Megan Rogers.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 20, at Wood Funeral Home, 16 Main St., Branchville, and Friday, March 21, from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Branchville United Methodist Church, 8 Broad St., Branchville. A memorial service at the church will follow visitation Friday at 11 a.m.
