Christian Joshua Copeman

FREDON -- Christian Joshua Copeman, 17, of Fredon Township, went to be with the Lord Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at his home.

Born in Kingston, N.Y., Christian had lived in Weston, Fla., and New Paltz, N.Y., before moving to Fredon Township seven years ago. Christian was a senior at Kittatinny Regional High School in Hampton Township, where he played varsity football and basketball. Christian also loved to go fishing. He was a born again Christian and a member of the Christian Faith Fellowship Church in Hardyston Township.

Christian was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Mike Milano. The son of Aaron and Patches Copeman, Christian is also survived by his sister, Taylor Copeman, and brother, Jake Copeman; his paternal grandparents, Kenn and Rita Copeman; and his maternal grandmother, Angela Milano.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, Feb. 9, at 7 p.m. in the Christian Faith Fellowship Church, 3188 Route 94, Hardyston. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton.
