Donna L. Little

HAMPTON - Donna L. Little, 46, of Hampton, died Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, in Hampstead, N.C.

Born in Sussex, Donna was raised in Wantage and had been a resident of Hampton since 1986. She was a 1984 graduate of High Point Regional High School, where she was named class clown and homecoming queen. She was remembered most for her outgoing personality. Loved by all, Donna truly was the life of the party. Her charismatic personality brought smiles and laughter to everyone she touched.

Donna had been employed by the Marian E. McKeown School District in Hampton Township for the past 11 years. She was extremely dedicated to the children she worked with and had a special place in her heart for each one of them. Donna was awarded the support staff member of the year in 2009 and was involved in many activities at the school.

A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Donna was a special young woman who touched the lives of so many.

She was a member of the Baleville Congregational Christian Church in Hampton.

Donna is survived by her husband of 26 years, Karl Little; three daughters, Meghan Little and her fiancé, Paul Putera, of Frankford, Erin Little, of Hampton, and Brianna Little, of Hampton; her parents, Ronald and Rayna Howell, of Wantage; three sisters, Debbie Ayers and her husband, Howard, of Columbia, S.C., Tammy Kuperus and her husband, Thomas, of Hampstead, N.C., and Cheryl Cecchini and her husband, Michael, of Wantage; her grandparents, Mildred and Roy Rohel, of Wantage; her father and mother-in-law, Phil and Faith Little, of Dundee, N.Y.; her brother-in-law, Phillip Little Jr., and his partner, Nina, of Vinton, Va.; her sister-in-law, Taffy Banghart, and her partner, Scott, of Stillwater; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at noon Saturday, Nov. 17, at Baleville Congregational Church, 6 Church Road, Hampton. Interment will follow in Clove Cemetery in Wantage. Visitation will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon at the church.
