Edward H. Feldman

WANTAGE - Edward H. Feldman, 77, passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at the Chervier Home in Warwick, N.Y.

He was born Oct. 5, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y., to Samuel Feldman and Minna Katz Feldman. Ed will be fondly remembered as a loving and caring husband to his wife of more than 50 years, Patricia, an outstanding father, grandfather and friend.

Ed was predeceased by his parents; his sister, Eileen; and daughter, Deborah. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia; his sister, Barbara; his son, Daniel; his daughter, Tammy and her husband, Andrew Smith; his son, Scott and his wife, Dena; as well as five grandchildren.

Ed dedicated his life to providing for his family and always found the time to help a friend or loved one in need. Ed loved his music, all animals, and entertaining friends and family. Ed worked closely with the FOP and PBA in the '70s and '80s, and was responsible for raising more than $2 million for the City of Hope Charity Fund, accepting an honor in memory of his late daughter Deborah. He will be sorely missed and his life story will continue to provide inspiration for those who knew him well.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 21, between 1 and 3 p.m. at the American Legion on Route 23 in Wantage. All donations in his memory should be given to the ASPCA. See NJSPA.org for donation information.
