Frances A. Parchomcik

OGDENSBURG - Frances A. Parchomcik, 91, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at Newton Medical Center. Mrs. Parchomcik, daughter of the late William and Bertha (Nystrand) Ward, was born in Ogdensburg on March 20, 1921. She was a lifelong resident of Ogdensburg.

Mrs. Parchomcik was a licensed practical nurse and had worked at the former Franklin Hospital. Following that she worked as a supply specialist at Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway Township for 42 years, retiring in 1987.

Mrs. Parchomcik was predeceased by her husband, William Parchomcik, on Feb. 20, 2012; brothers, John, George and Art Ward; and sisters, Ruth Bennett and Emma Ward. She is survived by her son, William Parchomcik Jr., of Ogdensburg; and a sister, Elizabeth Babcock, of Frankford Township.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, Nov. 28, at 2 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery Mausoleum in Franklin. Entombment will follow at the mausoleum. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin. For condolences, please see
