George E. Hahn III

SPARTA -- George E. Hahn III, 60, passed into eternal rest at his residence Wednesday, June 4, 2014.

George was born to George Jr. and Joan (Buscemi) Hahn in Fort Monmouth. He had been a resident of Sparta since the early 1980s, and was previously from Kinnelon. He was a self-employed computer consultant.

George was a member of the Lake Mohawk Tennis Club, a former officer of the Alpine Association of Lake Mohawk, and loved boating on the lake. He enjoyed his guitar and music in general, as well as skiing.

George was predeceased by his father, George E. Hahn Jr. He is survived by his loving son, Philip Hahn, of Las Vegas, Nev.; his beloved mother, Joan Buscemi, of Kinnelon; two sisters, Kathy Picun and husband, Wayne, of Stillwater, and Lynne Hill and husband, Doug, of Redmond, Wash.; two brothers, Mark Hahn and wife, Geri, of Mountain Lakes, and Kurt Hahn, of Cuba, N.M.; and four nieces and four nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visiting hours Sunday, June 8, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Goble Funeral Home, 22 Main St., Sparta. A funeral chapel service will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday.
