John Francis Drury

SPARTA - John Francis Drury, 95, of Sparta, passed away Jan. 24, 2013, in Milford, Pa. He was a retired design draftsman for Booton Electronics, Booton. Mr. Drury was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Church, Sparta, and Knights of Columbus Marquette Council 588, Sparta.

The son of the late Peter and Lavinia (Corbey) Drury, he was born Feb. 20, 1917, in Mine Hill. He was married to the late Ruth Jane (Grogan) Drury.

Survivors include his son, Brian Drury, and his wife, Kathleen, of Milford, Pa.; three grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, and his wife, Laura, and Kevin, and his wife, Jasmin; five great-grandchildren, Catherine, James, Francis, Chenda and Brian; and one great-great grandson, Nicholas. He was predeceased by his son, Michael.

Friends may call at Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 West Harford St., Milford, Pa., Sunday, Jan. 27, from 2 to 5 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Vincent DePaul Church, Milford, Pa., at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28, with the Rev. Paul Mullen officiating.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at St. Mary's Cemetery, Dover.
