Luella J. Snook

NEWTON - Luella J. Snook, 90, of Newton, died Monday, Dec. 17, 2012, at Andover Subacute & Rehab Center in Andover Township.

Born in Andover Township, Mrs. Snook lived in Newton for more than 70 years. She was a clerk at the former Woolworth's Department Store in Newton.

The daughter of the late Floyd L. and Mayona (Norman) Howell, Mrs. Snook is survived by two sons, Clifford Snook, of Milford, Pa., and Garry Snook, and his wife, Karen, of Newton; two grandchildren, Kelly Sroka, of Stroudsburg, Pa., and Kyle Snook, of Montague; four great-grandchildren, Jacob, Rachel, Samuel and Marissa.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, 11 a.m., at the Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton, followed by interment at Newton Cemetery.
