Marie Anna Cole

ANDOVER TWP. - Marie Anna Cole, 81, of Andover Township, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, at Andover Subacute & Rehabilitation Center.

Born Feb. 29, 1932, to John and Elba (Pittenger) McPeek, Marie was the youngest of seven children. She married the love of her life, Donald Allen Cole, on April 9, 1949, to whom she was married for 60 years. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her friends and family. Most of all, she loved spending her summers at the Delaware River and also being "Nana" to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Marie was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters; her husband, Donald; and her grandson, Eric Wall. She is survived by her three daughters, Alana Wall and her husband, Tom, Adona Terwilliger and her husband, Roger, Adara Sisco and her husband, Jim. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Tracie Kennedy, and her husband, Steve, Becky McHale and her husband, Mike, Dusty Terwilliger and his wife, Catie, and Cole Myers; as well as her great-grandchildren.

A public visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Smith-McCracken Funeral Home, 63 High St., Newton. Services and interment are private.
