Patricia Ann Sipley-Sliker

NEWTON --Patricia Ann Sipley-Sliker, 72, of Culver Lake, died Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at Newton Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Wantage Township to the late Charles and Laura (Hendershot) Sipley, Mrs. Sliker resided in Andover Township for 31 years prior to moving to Culver Lake.

Patricia married Leonard Charles Sliker Nov. 4, 1961.

Pat enjoyed doing volunteer services, in addition to providing caregiving to friends and family alike. She was always there to lend a hand and support others. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and -nephews. She was “Aunt Pat” to everyone who knew her.

Patricia is predeceased by her husband, Leonard, of 50 years; her parents, Charles and Laura (Hendershot) Sipley; brothers Charles (Bubby) Sipley and Earl Sipley; and sister Fannie (Sipley) Luchetti. She is survived by two daughters, Tammy Sliker Ernst and fiancé, Glenn Curcione, of Lafayette, and Candis Bullis and husband, William, of Constableville, N.Y.; four grandchildren, Robbilee Ernst, Isabel Bullis, William Bullis and Mark Pierce; one great-granddaughter, Aniyah Pierce; two sisters, Irene Dickerson of Dingmans, Pa., and Nellie Kinney of Andover; and three brothers, Robert Sipley of Andover, Richard Sipley of Newton and Vince Sipley of South Carolina.
