DUBLIN, Ohio - Paul C. Cilurso, 63, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013.
Paul was born in Warwick, N.Y., and raised in Franklin. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy
, where he enlisted in 1966 and was assigned to the USS Tallahatchie County in Naples, Italy, as a machinist mate. Paul was a member of American Legion Post 132 in Franklin. He was employed as a legal aide at Linebarger Goggan Blair and Sampson LLP.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Pauline Cilurso, and his brother, Albert Cilurso. Surviving their loving father are his daughter, Catherine Van Tassel, and her husband, Michael, of Hamburg, and his son, Thomas Cilurso, of Franklin; grandchildren, Thomas Cilurso Jr., of Port Jervis, N.Y., and Pauline and Kyle Van Tassel, of Hamburg; great-grandson, Mason Cilurso, of Port Jervis, N.Y.; and sister-in-law, Veronica Cilurso, of Albuquerque, N.M.
Visitation was held Thursday, Feb. 7, from 5 to 7 p.m., and was followed by a 7 p.m. memorial service at Rutherford Funeral Home at Powell, 450 West Olentangy St., Powell, Ohio. A memorial service also will be held Sunday, Feb. 17, noon, at the Sgt. Francis M. Glynn American Legion Post 132, 57 Ed. Mitchell Ave., Franklin, NJ 07416. Donations may be made to the American Legion Post 132.
