Raymond W. Norris

VERNON -- Raymond W. Norris, 89, of Vernon, formerly of Paramus, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2013.

Before retiring, Raymond worked in inventory control for the Bendix Corp. in Little Ferry. He was an Army veteran who served our country proudly during World War II, and he was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Visitation Church in Paramus and St. Francis R.C. Church in Vernon.

Dear husband of the late Veronica (nee Kelly) (1986). Beloved father of Mary Chard and her husband, Don, of Montville, Ann Oravetz and her husband, Thomas, of Cranford, Beth Sarkisian and her husband, Ion, of Paramus, Gerry Norris and his wife, Gail, of Jefferson Township, Terri Fischer and her husband, Bill, of Vernon, Darinda Norris, and the late Raymond Norris (2003). Loving grandfather of 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Family will receive friends today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113-S Farview Ave., Paramus. Funeral service will be Saturday at 9 a.m. from the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Visitation Church, Paramus. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, Paramus.
